Yep, I have brain fog for sure. I just got back from a five hour drive. I had to drive all the way back home and back because I brought the wrong Tasigna box. I brought the empty one.
Everyone wanted me to run to CVS.
I call it my stupid pill.
Oh and then when I got back to the hotel after 5 hours of driving I realized I set the hotel key card on the counter at home.
I dare anyone to beat this story! This can be our stupid pill story telling thread!
I went out of town for school and forgot to take the Tasigna with me, but just did without it for 3 glorious pain-free days. You're right, can't run out to the corner drugstore for a few TKIs.
Another time, I was out of town for school going to get a student hospital ID. I lost the car in the parking deck (small parking deck) and it took forever for me to find it. Thankful for a key fob with a horn honker. Then, I had my $2 in my pocket to pay to get out. Once I found the car, I couldn't find my $2. I found the security guy and told him I couldn't find my money, so he was going to lead me down to the gate to let me out. Then, between talking to him and reaching the exit gate, my $2 suddenly appeared. This was the worst brain fog day I think I've ever had. My day started out driving from the center of the state to the northwestern corner of the state to enroll in the Simplicity clinical trial (never got another survey after enrolling- Grrr). Then, driving to the northern central part of the state for school, then to the north eastern part to the hospital, then back home to the central part of the state. I looked horrible in the ID picture. I had really overextended myself that day and feel like my brain shut down. That was a day I'll never forget.
