I'm on Tasigna and I've got bumps on my scalp due to the hair follicles reacting and growing differently.  They're kind of annoying, because if they come out they look like dandruff.  And I also have a bad habit of going around my scalp and kind of plucking these, which pulls out a couple of hairs anyway.

Is there a solution to this, like a good shampoo or something?

I was doing more research and wondered if it was a form of keratosis pilaris, perhaps.  Thanks!

I noticed the same thing with my head. Never showed up until I got leukemia. Just a coincidence?

I'm not sure what the exact medical term for it is, but I am on Gleevec and I have it.  Did not have it at first, came later after about a year or so.  I saw my oncologist today and mentioned it to her like I do any side effects that show up.  As soon as I said it, she knew what I was talking about.  She said it was a wll known side effect of the drug.

So I think this is common for people on TKI - although annoying and sometimes a little uncomfortable, it appears to be harmless. I've read you can use some organic shampoos like tea leave shampoos or something like that and it is supposed to help.  Check out the CML group on Facebook, there was a recent discussion about this with a lot of suggestions.

That particular thread was in the CML Survivors Closed Group.  I'm still in the closet about my CML, so I don't belong to the open groups on Facebook.  I can't deal with every person I knew from high school contacting me to tell me how sorry they are that I have cancer.  Screw that, I don't have time for it.
