Hi All,

So I got my newest shipment of Tasigna and was just reading over the info sent along with the medicine and noticed for the first time that "Brain Bleeding" could be a side effect. How did I miss this and how common is it? Would it come from low platelets? I am not really worried, but still....Also, has anyone noticed eye floaters since starting TKI Therapy? Thanks, Josh

Basically, it is about low platelets.  All the TKI drugs have this same issue.  For some people, the TKI drugs can also affect the quality of the platelets, making them less "sticky", so they do not work as well.

As I see it, if you read all the "possible" side effects you would be discouraged against taking these or any other drugs.

Dear Josh,

I have had floaters for so many years I don't even miss them when when they go away and I don't notice them when they come back. And that was years before cml.
