Had to share this news from today's blood work. After 3 weeks on Gleevec, WBC counts went from a high of 274000 down to 11000 today. Enlarged spleen is almost hard to detect now.
Gonna keep drawing blood every week to make sure counts don't drop too low. Feeling great with few side effects. Call me lucky, too?

Congratulations Steve: Your right on track with everything. Just keep doing what your doing, and you will get to where you need to be. Just live your life everyday normally and do what you always do.

Wow, that's fantastic news Steve -- keep it up.
What dosage are you on? I was started on Gleevec 400mg in April and moving toward the 3-month check later this month (not too far ahead of you in the treatment timeline)...

I take 400 mg each evening with dinner. Took my first pill on June 8th. Feeling better each day.
