3 months ago my bcr/abl result was 0.0003 on the Int. Scale. Today it was 0.008 on the Int. Scale, which I make to be a 1.427 Log increase. Is this significant? Also, I have read that only a 3-FOLD increase is significant. What is a 3-FOLD change in LOG terms? Thanks, Frank

When the numbers are that small, the log increases are not very useful.  Another PCR would be required to develop a better trend line.  If it concerns you, it could be done earlier than regular schedule.

1 log is 10-fold.
