HGB:  14.19

HCT:  42.78

Platelets:  802 (doubled)

Last week:

WBC:   2.3

ANC:    0.65

Neu:  28.7%

HGB:  normal

HCT:  42.1

Platelets:  481 (up from 289)

After a fast 3 week holiday I am back on 300mg. Gleevec.  Seems my Platelets jumped the most.  The neutrophils only slowly came back - but enough that the Oncologist said time to start up again.  I was told that when the pressure is off the marrow from Gleevec that they often they see the Platelets jump first and then settle back.  So I was told not to worry about it.  The concern is still with the Neutrophils - so we'll see what Gleevec at 300 mg. does.

I'm back on the watchful waiting Gleevec taking program.  The Oncologist doesn't even want to do a PCR test until November when my bone marrow biopsy is due.    And I don't go back for a CBC for two weeks.
