Has anyone run into this...

I found a lump in my armpit this morning, about the size of a mosquito bite. It hurts if i push on it but otherwise its unnoticable

Going to call my Onc in the morning to let his nurse know and to see what they say.

I hope its just an ingrown hair

Hi Jamar:  It could be a ingrown hair, or a tiny cyst.  It does not sound like anything serious, but checking with your doctor is a good thing to do.

thats what i am hoping.

My Onc always checks my lymphnodes as part of my check up so thats why i am concerned.

Hi:  Getting your lymphnodes is always part of your check-up for all of us, if you have a good doctor.  I think everyone can think of a time they had a sore pimple of some kind, and thought it could be worse.  Let us know how you do.  It might even feel better before you get to see the doctor.

well I got up this morning and the lump was gone, it was only the size of a mosquito bite to begin with no pain around the area either.

I'm going to continue to monitor this and if it comes back i'll call the Onc. I have to say it did have me a bit worried.
