There was a discussion last month about different kinds of cosmetic surgery, and I was one of the "posters" in that discussion. I have seen my surgeon again, and he now seems ready to do a procedure just underneath the eyes - he feels there's still too much fluid in the upper lids caused by the CML drugs. However, he also wants to do a chemical burn after the procedure as a "finishing touch." I've tried doing some research online about this, but have been unsuccessful thus far. I will talk to both of my oncologists in the next few weeks when I see them and get their opinions. However, I imagine they will not be too concerned. It's a fairly minor procedure and only requires conscious sedation.
Anyone on the boards had anything like this done since dx? Just trying to get some feedback.
Thanks, and take care,
