In Nov. 09 my bcr/abl test was down to 0.008. (I was 20+ at diagnosis.) In March it had increased for the first time since medication to 0.066.This is higher than my August report of 0.050. I have been taking Gleevec for 10 months, since being diagnosed with CML in late April 09.   Up until this point my Gleevec response had been excellent.  Is this increase a cause for alarm?  My blood cell counts for March were stable.  Should I request further tests to determine what's going on?  Is it typical for the bcr/abl test to fluctuate?

Thanks.  pjf
