Adverse Effect - At about week 6 of Sprycel sharp muscle pain that would start at 2 AM and last for about 4 hours. This lasted about 4 weeks and went away, thank goodness.

Hi everyone

Dasatinib (Sprycel) is not normally a cause of bowel issues. But we are all different and it could be related in your case. But I would look into other possibilities with your doctor just to be safe.

Aymansgham,
I also have cyclical stool issues with Sprycel. It's not diarrhea exactly, but I have found that adding bulk, like metamucil, does help.
Good luck!

I also have cyclical diarrhea with Sprycel. I'm on 100mg and for the last month it has been terrible. Last year I had a colonoscopy and the Dr. mentioned that the reason for my issues was definitely Sprycel. Just today I started taking Kefir in hopes that it will help.

I had bad nausea with Gleevec that got alot better when I took it an hour after dinner instead of with dinner. Hasn't affected MMR. Not the same problem but you might want to try it.
