I have been on Tasigna for almost five months. It is working well (PCR 0.06) But is taking a toll on me. It has done a number on my thyroid. I go see an endocrinologist for that on Thursday. Now my liver numbers have started to climb. They are still normal but they are trending up at an alarming rate. They were fine for the first 4 months then started creeping up. My ALT has climbed 9 points to 38 in just one and half months. My AST has increased 4 points in that same time frame. Bilirubin went from .6 to 1.0 in that same month and a half. I pointed it out to my doctor but he said not to worry until they get above normal.

Has this happened to anyone else? Will they level out? When do we start to worry about trends like this?

It happens to me. My AST and alt are above normal but they said that there's no reason to sorry because they will only stop my treatment if AST and alt get 5 times above normal. In december my bilirubin was 2.2 and 20 days ago was 1.5. Try not to worry much. You are doing great.

Several people had double normal AST/ALT before the docs had them do a drug break.  So you are far from those levels.  Unless they really shoot up there is no issue for you.

I took Sprycel, but my results were nearly double the highest normal throughout my treatment. Every time I had blood work the doctor would dismiss the overage, stating it was the new normal for me while taking the drug. I was told to watch alcohol consumption but I could still enjoy the occasional glass of wine. Numbers jumping around seems to be a constant for anyone on a TKI. Trying to figure out your new 'normal' is the hardest part. Best of luck.
