Blood test done before Gleevec, but page 2 is missing, I will post the result in 2 weeks, when I receive it.

March 6/14                                                           RESULT                  REFERENCE RANGE

LACTATE DEHYDROGENASE         689 H                      313-618

BICARBONATE                                   32 H                       21-31

What is Bicarbonate, is it another type of Sodium?

The next time I will check it, and make sure that she gave me all the pages. Thank you ALL.

Take care

ACG

LACTATE DEHYDROGENASE is uric acid, which is normally high in CML due to high cell turnover.

BICARBONATE  is CO2 (carbon dioxide) which can be high for many reasons and does not mean much unless very high.
