Interesting article! There have been some trials on TKI + Interferon combination treatment where this yielded faster responses than TKI alone. My impression prior to reading this was that Interferon acted through stimulating immune response, but it seems instead there is a clear molecular pathway at work.

Another potential implication: anything reducing beta-catenin activity might be beneficial. At first glance it seems a number of herbal supplements do this, at least in petri dish. Curucumin anyone?
