It's that time of year again, Santa is already airborne, and all around the world people have laid in supplies of food, drink and indigestion remedies.  I'd like to wish all of my 'imaginary friends' on here all the compliments of the season and a happy and healthy new year.

In particular, I'd like to say Merrry Christmas / Hannukah / Yule or whatever takes your fancy to all the people for whom this is their first Xmas since their CML diagnosis.  You've probably all just spent far too much money on presents, just in case it's your last Xmas.  I have bad news for you.  You almost certainly have many, many more Xmases to come, and you've just raised everyone's expectations on how big a present they'll get from you each year.  Good luck sorting that one out!

All the best

Phil

Dear Phil,

Happy holidays to you and yours. And everyone of our Virtual family. And as Phil said to all our newcomers, you will have many many more Christmases.

Merry Christmas    Billie
