Does anyone have the MyCMLCircle Co-pay card for Tasigna (offered through Novartis)? I noticed that Novartis says that this will expire Dec 31st, 2012.
Any idea if they renew these sorts of things yearly?
Thanks

BMS renewed the MySprycel co-pay card last year, though I don't know if they will renew again. Hang onto your current card, even if they send you a new one. BMS send me a second card, but then when I tried to use it, they wouldn't honor it, saying that you could only have one card per lifetime. Luckliy, my pharmacy had the original card number on file, since I had thrown out the first one.

I believe they put an expiration date on these programs. Bms card is good thru 12/13. The BMS management would review it and decide to renew or not, probably based on their "Marketing Criteria". I am sure Novartis does the same thing.
What can we do as patients is to let our Oncs know what a great program it is and to convey this to their drug rep. I would hope that if BMS or Novartis would drop the plan the other one would not follow suit. I would suggest a short letter of thanks to the company where you are getting the benefit would not hurt either. In reality they are just discounting the medicine to your pharmacy, no skin off their back. A $100 on $5k is A 2% discount
Just my opinion.

Thanks for the input all. I actually got off the phone with them and they told me the program just got extended until Dec 31st, 2013, for one more year, and all renewals are automatic and you don't need a new card. Great news as this covers my copay. Just a head's up for anyone with this card for Tasigna through Novartis.
