Hello so i was diagnosed 08/2004 and stopped responding to Gleevec which only had a minor rash that was not bothersome since it was small. However I recently switched to Tasigna and the rash is so bad, it doesn't burn but is dry, bumpy and all over my cheecks, forhead and under my chin. It's making me kinda self conscious is there anything to minimize the apperance for now??? I'm going to ask to see a dematoligist the next time i go in for a follow up.

Thanks!

Try Vanicream and over-the counter Cortisone cream. When and why did you stop responding to Gleevec? Regards, Frank

Issues with money, jobs, and insurance led me to be on and off Gleevec and with and with out health insuranceĀ  eventually it's just not working for me anymore. Thank god I've found a good job and am able to stayed insured and take care of my CML.
