This week when I got my 6 month PCR bloodwork done and the results came back my numbers were 0.0002. But since February 2007 my numbers were  always  0.000 PCRU. This is same lab that the oncologist has always used although a different M.D. was listed as the reviewer and interpreter. I am wondering if this could be something new showing up in my blood, something new at the lab or maybe just a plain ole typo. The oncologist seemed satisfied that the results showed 0.000 and had no explination where the 2 would come from. Anyone know of any changes on what PCRU means?

The .0002 is very close to PCRU.  Sometimes the PCR can find a needle in a haystack.  It is not anything to be concerned about.  For example, I was in a clinical trial where the lab tested the same vial of blood 15 times by PCR, and one of the 15 PCRs was "slightly postive" and the rest were PCRU.  It just happens sometimes.

Couldn't agree more, Jim. I consider all of my "imaginary" friends on this site to be my very best friends!
