I just bought veggie wash. The stuff you spray on your fruits and veggies and rinse it off? Well it contains grapefruit seed extract. I know it's rinsed off the food but is that still ok for me to be washing my stuff in?

Hi Laura,

The only issue with grapefruit is that it has the potential to make your liver slow down the processing of your TKI, which in turn could increase your side effects. I seriously doubt there would be enough grapefruit juice left on you veggies to make the slightest impact in your liver.

Lots of folks on this forum eat grapefruit.  Some even eat it to boost the level of TKI in their system.  Don't worry about the miniscule amount of grapefruit in the spray.
