Hello everyone here, I just wanted to share the results I just got from my 5 months PCR test (results according to IS -international standard- scale)

08-2011 : diagnosed, 100%FISH, 63%PCR

11-2011 : 2.5months, 0%FISH, 1.93%PCR

02-2012 : 5months, 0%FISH, 0.27%PCR

Everything is taking the right direction apparently. I'd like to thank everyone here for support and sharing information
Plus one little question : What is the official definition of MMR? Is it 3logs from 100%PCR (which would be 0.1%) or from PCR at diagnosis (which would be 0.063% for me)?
I was hoping maybe I would be in MMR; but I am quite close I believe so that's great anyway.

EDIT : according to this presentation http://www.leukemia-...E_CDVersion.pdf    it is 0.1% IS apparently

Good luck to you all!
Pierre

Thank you Jack !

And this is fun: I am learning how to use a programming langage => here are 2 graphes to try to predict the evolution of my results

Congratulations, Pierre! Of course, both of your scenarios are correct; .01% and .063 will both indicate MMR for you. For instance for me, my current .02% IS is equivilent at Mayo to .006.

Those graphs are so cool we're all going to want you to do them for us, too!

DX 12/08; Gleevec 400mg; liver toxicity; Sprycel 100mg.; CCyR 4/10; MMR 8/10; Pleural Effusion 2/12; Sprycel 50mg. Maintaining MMR; 2/15 PCRU; 8/16 drifting in and out of undetected like a wave meeting the shore. Retired 12/23/2016! 18 months of PCRU, most recent at Mayo on 7/25/17 was negative at their new sensitivity reporting of 0.003.<p>

Hi Tedsey:  Don't be jealous. You are an amazing lady, and you are beating this disease in your time.  Not the predicted time that statistics tell  you that you should.  You have been through so much.  I cannot remember it all, but I know you have been through some really rough days.

We all do things in different ways, and thats why we are who we are.

I have not really kept up with a lot of peoples responses and how they are doing.  Been busy with lots of other things going on in my life, but I do wish you well for a continued progression to where you want to be.

I admire your strength in everything.

Susan
