The pharmacy can't take them back, and they are just sitting in the cupboard. 90 - 70mg tablets. It was filled in June so they need to be used by this june. My husband was switched to Gleevec right after we filled the prescription, and I forgot they were there. Does anyone know of a donation program? It seems silly to let these go to waste.

The Onc can usually re-issue them to a needy person.

I hope so! I will check with them tomorrow. I know this would have been a Godsend if some would have been available when my husband was diagnosed. We had to jump through hoops to get him into the VA program (he is 33, and was no longer in the military) We had to wait for a while before he could start the medicine since we had no prescription coverage.
