Got my results from last weeks BMB today at my Onc appointment.  FISH results were 37.5%. PCR went from 17.897 on 9/1/11 to 8.379 on 12/12/11.

Seems about average on 400mg Gleevec. Still got some work to do, but then again, the work never ends, does it?

Tried to explain it to the family with a race analogy. If the goal is zero on these tests and I'm running a marathon, then I'm at the 16 mile mark.

I'm gonna keep running.

Hey, who is that playing piano just over that hill?  Sure enough, it's Elton John belting out "Philadelphia Freedom!!". Almost there.

Happy Holidays,

Steve-o

Hi:  So glad to see your doing good, and your right the work never ends.  You just keep running the race, and your going to win. You will see lower and lower numbers with each test.  I always say do not be in a rush, and you will get there.

Happy Holidays to You Too.  Enjoy Them

Susan

Hi Steve,

This is one of those cases where downhill is a good thing.  Keep running toward that music, we all hear it in the distance but you are getting very close to those huge woofers!  Rock on!
