Hi All,

So I've been getting a CBC every 3 weeks or so. My counts have been pretty stable. WBC between 5-6 and PLT between 130-140. I recently traveled abroad to Colombia to do some teaching and picked up a flu bug or virus. While the symptoms (muscle aches, nausea, fever) have gone away, I still feel REALLY fatigued. I went to get a CBC today just to check things over and my WBC was 3.6 and my PLT 120, HBG 14.2. The numbers haven't gone that low in  at least  3 or 4 months. Can the flu or other viruses cause these numbers to drop or is it just coincidence? I know certain infections can cause your WBC to rise, but can some cause it to lower? I've done a little reasearch that says it is possible, but don't know if it's trust worthy. Thanks for your help, everyone.
