I don't mean to spam the boards today, but I just got a call from my oncologist's office; apparently the PCR results finally made their way up to his office.  I personally haven't seen my PCR at diagnosis but the results for this are 0.003%!  I'm pretty ecstatic about that; he wants me to go in and have a biopsy this week so we can look at the marrow, I guess since FISH is negative and PCR is so low so quickly.

Dang, now how am I going to be able to finish the work day with the good news?

Congrats!  I am headed for my 9 month bmbx in a few days and I can only hope my results are as good as yours.

Congratulations Taylor, those are brilliant numbers.

The only question now is, is it actually worth doing a BMB with numbers that low?  Personally I'd probably still have one as my tolerance for pain is better than my tolerance for fretting about crazy 'what-ifs', but if your initial BMB didn't show any funnies (apart from the standard 9:22) then you may feel differently.

Hope you managed to get through your day without having to have your grin surgically removed and that you are not too hung over today.

Phil
