6 month FISH results--negative!; still waiting on PCR

Hi everyone,

I'd like to share my FISH results. I went in for my 6 month check-up Tuesday August 9th, and we drew for FISH and PCR on peripheral blood. I got the results on the FISH today and I'm 100% negative! Tasigna is an amazing drug. At dx on January 31st the pathology had me at 96.5% on the FISH. I'm still waiting on the PCR but obviously this is incredible news. My 25th birthday is Monday so I am super excited about everything. And I'm very grateful for all the support here so far--it's been nerve-wracking to get to this point!

Congrats Taylor!!! Tasigna has been good for me also. Isn't is wonderful to have these drugs to battle this monster CML??? I pray I can stay at CMR, I have no problems with tasigna,as you said, tasigna is amazing!! Relax now & enjoy your good news & your birthday!!! prayers granny d
