It doesn't matter if it is CML or something else. You (or any parent) will always come up with a story to explain your kids' bruises. I remember worrying my kids' bruises were a) an indication of juvenile diabetes, or 
due to babysitter abuse. I even dragged one of the twins off to the doctor to feel the lumps on herhead, because I was worried the sitter had dropped her. (The kid has got a really lumpy head - kinda threw me off. Doctor thought I was nuts.)
