on day 6 vomited 12 times in 7 hours, the kind of chemo vomiting where the body wants to expel something it can never expel.  Ended up at the ED, then admitted.

I've done lots of internet searches looking for others with this type of severe vomiting as a side effect.  I'm scared to start it again because I don't want to go through that again.  I have Zofran and am taking it 24/7 to "get ready" to start the Tasigna again.

Any info, advice, suggestions is welcomed!

Although not impossible that the Tasigna caused this, or a combination of Tasigna and something else caused it, you should not rule out something like food poisoning, which may be a more likely cause.  But if it repeats you will know.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with Trey on this one.  I've had stomach viruses that made me throw up repeatedly for a good 24 h, with no hope of keeping anything down, either.  You could have picked up one of those, too.   The only way to find out is to start the Tasigna when you feel better and see if it repeats.  Hope you feel better soon.
