Just wondering...does having CML predispose a person to having other types of cancer?

I've often wondered the same thing but my Onc. told me that his experience is that it would be extremely rare to have two different cancers. This was after they found a spot on my lung & "something" on my adrenal gland. Both of which were nothing to speak of.
I have cancer but it doesn't have me

If someone uses non-TKI treatment such as real chemotherapy, then that treatment can increase the risk of secondary cancers.
