Hello fellow CMLers,

I got some good news from Stanford Hospital Cancer Clinic in Palo Alto California.

I have reached a 3 log reduction at 18 months from my original CML diagnosis.

From 350K whiteblood count with 2% blast to a 3 log reduction in 18 Months.

Tasigna 400 MG in AM and 200 MG in PM.

I would like to thank you all for your support.

Wow!  Awesome!  You are doing great!  I also just hit my 18 month mark and at last check, I was nowhere near a 3 log reduction.  And I was dx at WBC at 180,000 (less than you and just a little higher blasts).  Congrats!

Hi CML'S,

I've been 18 months on Gleevec, and have not hit the 3 log reduction, slowly moved to 2.6, when dx'ed I was 165,000 wbc.  Guess some of us are just a little slower to get there.  Good luck to all.  Jeff
