Thanks for the info. I just would caution putting too much personal info out there on social networking websites. In a perfect world, all the sick and downtrodden would be accepted and treated equally. Unfortunately, it is not always so in real society. And most don't understand what it is to live with cancer and not immediately be on death's door. I feel I would be discriminated against in my field if a potential employer were to know I had CML (eveyone can look at Facebook and the like). My profession was very competitive and is even more so today. I would like to pick and choose who knows about my CML dx. I don't want it to be public knowledge. As I am coming back from trying to undo all the damage and vicious gossip that came along with my dx 18 months ago, I would like to keep this a private issue and try to live a "normalish" life until I can no longer.
