I live in Greenwood, Indiana, just south of Indianapolis.  Are there anymore meetings planned to meet somewhere in the Indianapolis area?

Where would the cancer support center be?  Is Dr. Akard your oncologist?

The cancer support center is basically at 71st and Georgetown Rd on the West side of Indianapolis.  If you need specific directions please email me at jzinkovich@nationalcmlsociety.org.  Dr Akard is not my oncologist but I have gone to him for a consult back when I was considering giving up on Gleevec.  He is a wealth of knowledge and spent three hours talking to me just about CML.  He is the first doctor in Indianapolis that I have personally found to be a CML specialist.  His presentation on Saturday I think everyone will enjoy as it covers a lot of CML ground.
