Is there anyone who has atrial fibrillation and takes Tasigna or Sprycel?

In my case, I have CML + AF + RI

CML= chronic myeloid leukemia
AF = atrial fibrillation
RI = renal insufficiency
my serum creatinine is 130 ---- normal range (6-110)

I took Gleevec (400 mg) since June 2005 and I feel very tired. I want to try
Tasigna.

Note: The typical human reference ranges for serum creatinine are 0.5 to 1.0 mg/dL (about 45-90 ìmol/L) for women and 0.7 to 1.2 mg/dL (60-110 ìmol/L) for men

You can obtain information at http://www.cmleukemia.com/

(Just kidding.)

Renal insufficiency and high creatinine go together.  If you had renal insufficiency before starting Gleevec, then there is not much that could be done for it.  If not, then changing drugs would be a good idea.  Your Onc should have had you stop Gleevec for a couple weeks at some point, which maybe was done.  Either way, with your issues, if it were me, I would switch drugs.
