Since going off Tasigna and starting Gleevec at 1/2 the regular dose, my leg hair has started growing again and it seems some of the oil in my hair is returning. Just when I start thinking I may get my lovely locks back, I start noticing that some of the hair on my head resembles what I read may be pili multigemini. Maybe a few even being bifurcated and one trifurcated.
Anyone ever heard of this happening after TKI reduction or cessation?

I know that Tasigna can be very bad on hair (lost hair and remaining hair turned my hair white and frizzy).

Since being on bosutinib, I have hair grow back and the hair on my head has regained its color and softness.

I'm on Gleevec and my hair grows like crazy. Just had it cut today and the stylist was awestruck at the mass on the floor.

Other wacky hair tricks--I've been graying since my early 20s and am pretty fully gray, but the hair at my temples is growing back in *brown*. The re-pigmentation of hair is a known imatinib side effect, but it is the side effect that has freaked me out the most. Most expensive hair coloring EVER.

May 2016--PCR 0.115

September 2016-PCR 0.402

December 2016--PCR 0.256

March 2017--PCR 0.152
