Can the WBC differential predict,to a certain degree, the Pcr progression? I am always VERY anxious to meet with my onc every 3 mos. to see what my Pcr is.I was resistant to Gleevec and Sprycel, so after 3mos. on Tasigna I am really NERVOUS! All my counts are within the normal range but that was also the case with my other Tki`s.

Do you or have you seen a specialist? I'd really recommend it. Being as resistant as you have to the Gleevec aND Sprycel, I would think Bosulif, or even Ponatinib should be next, not Tasigna, but that's just my opinion.

I was told by a specialist that basophils, eosinophils and promyelocytes rising indicate disease progression...

As to your question, if your wbc starts rising above the normal range, you should know that the disease is not under any decent control by the medicine- which will result as PCR results rise, at some point. So largely, PCR predicts WBC as treatment proceeds.

Any recent BMB or mutation 315i testing, yet?

Btw, can you provide a timeline of your meds and PCR results since diagnosis? Just really curious.

Not in a reliable way, except if the CBC reports "Blasts" and it is above 1 or so.
