I always take my sprycel at 830am nearly every day. Occasionally I have taken it as late as 1030am then the next day I'll take it at 830am and I have not really worried about the small two hour difference. Yesterday I had a very different earlier work schedule which caused me to mistakenly leave my house without taking it. I had an event after work such that I did not have time to stop home to take it. I ended up taking it around 7pm when I got home. I was going to get back to my 830am time by taking it two hours early every day but is this really necessary? Is there any risk in just taking it say nine hours early?

Any time I've done something like that I would typically take it half way through the next day, and then get back on schedule the following day.  Assuming you are on 100mg, that shouldn't be an issue.

 

I would not suggest moving back two hours each day, that sounds more inconsistent.  I would sooner miss a day then do that.

Thanks for the reply. So you have taken it roughly 10 hours earlier on one day than you had the previous day without issue. I guess that was confusing but what I meant when I said "two hours back" was that I was going to take it two hours earlier each day than I had the day before.

Yeah the amount of time Sprycel stays in your system is only something like 12 hours I think.  Plus it is approved up to 140mg as a single dose, so I never worried much about it.  I also wouldn't get too concerned about missing a single pill once.
