Only the Chinese use it.  I would call it a human experiment, but that's just me.

Sadly, it is true for many Chinese that cannot afford the high price of Gleevec or other drugs, many of them resort to taking Hydrea to stay alive as it is so cheap.  There is no free medicine in China or government assistance programs like there are in other first world nations.  :(
