So scared. Went to ER with severe gastritis attack. Fever going up almost 103 liver enzymes elevated and WBC 11. Weird because I just had bloodwork at ONC office two weeks ago and not only was my CBC fine liver fine etc I finally reached MMR at 28 months. Pcr was .049. I had exact same thing last year and it all resolved in its own within a week my blood was normal. But I didn't have as high a fever last time. What could this be? Doctor told me he is keeping me and just being cautious but I a so worried! Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like food poisoning, but just a guess.  Something so short lived is usually not a major long term problem.

Do you take NSAID medication?  Tylenol?

I'm so sorry to hear you're so sick. I would trust that you'll get a thorough work up for the gastritis while in hospital. If they don't do it, ask them to check out gall bladder and pancreas as well. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Now nurse just told me there was immature white cells in my blood. How could that be? I reached MMR a month ago. Also still low grade temp. So confused

Did you get copies of the lab reports?  Did the CBC include "blast count" or what was the source of the nurse's information?  Was a complete metabolic panel (CMP) done?  What was high on that report?
