Does anybody split their daily dose of Sprycel e.g. 50mg 2x/day? Did it improve any side effects? Any negative consequences re. PCR? Thanks in advance.

Studies of the dose splitting issue showed that splitting Sprycel dosage actually increased side effects. This is the opposite of the other drugs. I assume this is because the half-life of Sprycel in the body is only 5 hours while the half-life of Gleevec and Tasigna are about 16 - 18 hours. Having said that, studies do not always show how an individual would be affected. So it would be worth a try.
By the way, the original dosing schedule for Sprycel was twice daily.
