Colors are Gorgeous!  What are the shingles?  Dark or light?  Is that a bar in your second photo?  Hard to figure out the layout just looking at the framing.

Thanks for sharing!

Looking good! I hope the strategic placements of the "boulders" are not to foil our attempts at a "house warming"! It looks like a bar, Pam. Of course it could be the kitchen, but this is our Marnie we're talking about here.   :D

The boulders will edge the back patio with some planting areas.  We had to do some creative thinking when the framing was finished and we discovered that our land isn't as flat as we thought. . .didn't want more than 3 steps because it would require a rail.  So Dave the Digger came up with the idea of steps and landing, all surrounded by boulder-lined flower beds.

The bar is a kitchen bar, but I'm sure we'll serve beverages there, too.  It is a great-room design.  Hard to take a picture inside to show what it looks like.

Chrissy, it's in south central Colorado, in the Collegiate Peaks valley.

Or something like that.  Only highly intelligent people live there.  Or something like that.

I am glad I am not standing where that buffalo is.  That moose has a nasty side, I am thinking.

Do moose put their heads down when they charge, if so that buffalo better run like hell," or" the two of them could join the circus.

Marnie that  is gorgeous and you don't have to spend your retirement years fixing up your old house, that's the stage Ron and I are at but he doesn't wan't to sell and I do!  I'm patiently waiting until all the yard work hits him.

Boy your builders sure are neat when we paint one room ,and the whole house gets messed up. I hope your're not overdoing it but I'm sure you are!
