Hydromorphone is a strong opioid*.  You would not even hear Janis Joplin singing while Jimmy Hendrix plays guitar on that stuff.  OK, so they both died of drug overdoses.  Maybe that fits after all.

* Billie: Opioid is NOT the name of the kid on the Andy Griffith Show

Before I was diagnosed for almost a year it sounded like my heart was in my ear seldom during the day but always at night when I tried to sleep. They said that my blood was too thick so thick I could have had a stroke. They gave me blood thinner shots in my stomach when I was in the hospital and the heart doc put me on something to lower my heart rate and it stopped. I was so so happy!

Mr. Tee

Sometimes I can't tell the difference between the noises and the voices in my head. A lot of meds can cause that, aspirin is one of them! Geeze now we even get side effects from a headache. Go figure

gerry, You sound like all my therapists. They all seem to abruptly disappear after they have a few sessions with me. My first one quit her job and went to work on a farm picking potatoes or whatever they do with them (true story) and the rest of them just disappeared.

In my defense it turned out the potato picker had more problems then me. After over 30 years off and on I still hear the same thing I should do volunteer work and I should walk a lot. Dammit I did do volunteer work and I got fired! Gods honest truth.

If that wasn't bad enough one of the senior citizens where I volunteered Keyed my car.

I'm right there with you Mr Tee. Only good thing I have to say about work is the days and weeks seem to move faster, making retirement that much closer!

Mr Tee,  I am hearing the same thing as you.  The only difference is my keeps getting louder every day.  Must be the TKI's?

Billie, probably January 2017. Will hope for 2018 depending on how I'm doing. My latest CBC was much improved and that seems to go along with eating everything not nailed down. Scared to get on the scale but clothes are tighter and my face is as round as the moon!

The poor quality of the scales and mirrors manufactured today is horrendous.  Twenty years ago my mirrors showed a younger face and my scale wasn't off the scale.  I can't believe I still buy them.

I'm counting down the days.  Turned in my retirement paperwork.  I have 40 days left (minus the two I'm taking off for a colonoscopy. . gah).

Marnie, if I were taking two days off, I wouldn't use it for a colonoscopy. I say, take the days, play hooky, and get the colonoscopy after you retire!
