I was dsx in Feb 2014 with WBC at 260, but last week reached 6% on my BCR/ABL and 9% on my FISH. I was an avid distance runner in my earlier days and still run everyday but when I really EXERT myself in a 5 km race I really labor through it. I am 66 but guys I used to beat easily in my thirties are way ahead of me. Is it the 600mg of Gleevec or the CML that is holding me back? I feel good but am confused that i just can't be conpetitive in my age group.

It is a phase you will go through. After a while they will eat your dust.

My hemoglobin is 14 and I feel full of energy, but like Trey said - it is a phase I'm going through! I'll keep racing and I'll let you all know if I improve!
