Dx: Sudden severe anemia detected 07/2011, followed by WBC spike. CML Dx 02/2012.
Rx: 03/2012-Gleevec400. Reduced 02/2013 to Gleevec300 due to side effects (low blood counts).
Response: PCR-Und within 7 mo. on G400. Maintained MMR4-MMR4.5 on G300. PCR-Und since 02/2016.

I remember curling up under my desk for a nap in the early days. The best antidote I found was to go and climb up and down a few flights of stairs and get the blood pumping. It often took a real effort to make myself go and do it, but it made a huge difference.

If you're sleepy after just one day or 2, it's probably because you didn't sleep soundly. A cancer diagnosis does that. Now - after a week or 2? Yeah. TKI fatigue. (Did somebody already welcome you to the club?)
