It is so windy and just above zero - I HATE IT!!! Nothing to do but start a nice fire and open another bottle of vino....

2018 01/16 TFR 0.0004 ... next quarterly PCR 04/17
At the earliest opportunity, and whenever possible, lower your TKI dosage; TKIs are toxic drugs and the less we take longterm the better off we are going to be ... this is especially true for older adults.
In hindsight I should have started my dosage reduction two years earlier; it might have helped minimize some of the longterm cumulative toxic effects of TKIs that I am beset with.
longterm side-effects Peripheral Artery Disease - legs (it's a bitch); continuing shoulder problems, right elbow inflammation. GFR and creatinine vastly improved after stopping Gleevec.
Cumulative Gleevec dosage estimated at 830 grams
Taking Gleevec 400mg an hour after my largest meal of the day helped eliminate the nausea that Gleevec is notorious for.

I didn't realize that we all lived so close to each other. Well we should all get together and go snowmobiling (yeah right) I think these tkis make us more vulnerable to the cold, and the heat and the skitters, nausea, constipation, etc.
Antilogical you have the right idea, I have my flannel jammies on and my polar bear robe, maybe I need another glass of vino. It's 6 degrees here right now. I hope nothing freezes up. We don't have the fireplace going this year because of Ron's lung problem, I sure do miss it.
Hey Buzz, BITE ME 70 degrees huh you are such a braggart. I don't think it reached 70 degrees here last summer.
Stay warm everybody, damn I can't get a hot flash when I need it. go figure.
A really nice super shower like the rich folks have sure does sound good right now, but that would involve undressing and that ain't going to happen until May. Billie

But without winter there would be no snowboarding, no cross-country skiing, no hot chocolate. . . .

Ok - everybody meet at my house. Bring jammies and a bottle of your favorite beverage (enough to share). Fire will be burning. We'll get our hot flashes ON, baby!

Hi Antilogical,
I'm on my way. I'll bring vino, and cheese and crackers. We have a virtual blizzard going on right now. I didn't know this storm was coming, I'm getting low on wine so it better clear up soon. I sure wish they would deliver. Hey that would be cool if liquor stores would deliver.
I'm still waiting for my hot flash. Lets party in Pittsburg
