Good grief, it is complicated enough for newbies like me. I go for my three month Fish and PCR on Wednesday. I am so nervous. What should I hope for and what should I expect? What is reasonable? My CBC was all normal. My RDW was a little high but only by 0.2.

Does any one know what standard Levine's Cancer Institute in Charlotte, NC uses? These are all questions I will ask the doc on Wednesday but doesn't hurt to be informed before hand.

Ok so today I got my 3 month results and I am FISH negative and PCR of 0.06%. I understand that to be MMR. Yeah!!!! My lab here in Charlotte NC is on the IS standard.

So my next step is PCRU or CMR. So what is that exactly? anything less than .005%? At what point do the new PCR tests say undetectable? I think my doctor said they can measure a 4.5 log reduction. I know a 4 log reduction would be .01 so is 4.5 log reduction .005?

I am just curious. I am happy being 99.94% cancer free!

Honestly I don't know. Basically 100% I think is what the doc said. My spleen was huge! My WBC was 278. My spleen still hurts 3 months later. I still can't sit in a chair without unbuttoning my jeans... Hopefully no one is looking! :)
