Im about a year in and Ive had pretty signifigant hair loss on my legs and a bit less on my stomach and chest. I started losing my hair at 19 so its hard to tell what its done to my head... though I dont think its been too great if any.

Most of side effects of Gleevec are gone in a year, the only one left I have is a tightness in my stomach after taking it in the evening, it's gone in the morning.
There is no hair loss with Gleevec and it's going generic during mid 2015.

I have been on Tasigna for about two and half years. I do have a very noticeable hair loss on the top. It seems slowing down a bit.

Thanks, guys. actually, it's not a great problem (well, i don't want to be bald, but this is not a big issue). i was on propecia (for hair loss) 'till my diagnose but i stopped to take it because i don't know if there's some interaction with the tkis. when i was on gleevec, my hair was ok, actually, was thicker, but now, on tasigna, it's falling too much. i think i'll have a hat for christmas

Lucas, just shave that sh*t and be done with it. The chicks dig it. And my lady is kinda liking the associated non-head hair loss... hubba hubba wikki wikki wang wang.

My doc is considering switching me from Gleevec to Tasigna. While I'm elated at the notion that I won't have to shave my legs anymore, I'm a little frightened by the other comments. How will my hubba hubba react to the wikki wikki wang wang?
Dx: Sudden severe anemia detected 07/2011, followed by WBC spike. CML Dx 02/2012.
Rx: 03/2012-Gleevec400. Reduced 02/2013 to Gleevec300 due to side effects (low blood counts).

Seeing as though, as I said, Ive had male pattern baldness since my late teens, I dont know (cant tell) what the Tasigna is doing to my head. I know that my legs are 90% bare and my chest is 50% more bare with what hair is there being much more fine and soft.
And I have no doubt your husband will not have a problem with any wikki wikki bang bang related hair loss.
