First thank you so much for all the valuable information we have recieved from this group over the last couple of months. It has been nerve racking enough to deal with the diagnosis and then the stress of navigating the system on top of that has been a little nerve racking.

 

My wife's first results came in for being on Gleevec for six weeks. Blood went from 55% to 27% and WBC dropped from 40.1 to 5.9. All I can say is WOW! Her Alkaline Phosphatase is now officially elevated, but from what I understand this is perfectly normal and acceptable.

 

Heres to being on the right path and hopefully staying on it.

They really are miracle drugs.  Of course, it'd be nicer to not have to deal with this crap, but since we have to - its nice to have the option of living!


January 15: .53%

April 15:       .78%

July 15:      1.1% - upped dosage to 400mg after this test

Oct 15:       .85%

December 15:  .28%

March 16: .29%

July 16: .34%

October 16: .11%

January 17: .081%

April 17: .055%

July 17: .135%

Oct 17: .008%

Rmerikle. Has your wife's alkaline phosphatase come back down my was also elevated at week 6 but I am hoping my comes down
