Well I finally managed to get logged into the site since the upgrade. My ID was not working and when I would reset I never the got the email. Finally thought to actually login to my gmail account directly and check the spam folder, sure enough it was there.
Sorry I have been away so long, I switched jobs about a year ago and I am busy all the time now. I suppose it is good, better that I don't have as much time to think.
I recently went for my PCR having now been on 100mg Sprycel consistently for 6 or so months. My latest result came back undetectable. I'm happy to say the least but also trying to not put too much into it. I was undetectable for close to 2 years, lowered my dose and was not undetectable anymore. I hope I stay there, but as long as I stay MMR I think I have gotten to the point where I will be happy with that. I'm sure if it goes up I will be disappointed and nervous, but I am going to try and take in stride as much as I can.
I have a trip coming up with the family in a couple of weeks, I was just thinking the other day that its hard to believe its been over 4 years already.
For the most part my side effects aren't too bad, although the pelvic muscle pain is tough and I am on all kinds of meds to try and keep the pain under control. Not sure how much that is attributable to TKI, but I think there is a lot we don't know. Probably best not to think about it.
