I'm going back to 400 mg Gleevec after a time of reduced dosage.  After eating I am "feeling" what feels like an awareness of my ribs pressing again something.

Has anyone experienced this....did you find anything to help?

Thanks, Janis

Last CMC showed liver enzymes elevated, went to a good Naturopath and he recommended 4 Tumeric, 10,000 mg Vitamen D, and 3 milk thistle (silymarin) daily. Also use One<p>Day Detox Dandeloin tea, and Nettle Tea and a slice of ginger every day...in two months liver tests were below normal.Janis

My lower left rib cage felt like it was pressing something long after the enlarged spleen had returned to normal.  It took a couple years to stop feeling that.

Im dealing with the same thing.  Granted, I had a little motercycle accident (really a "drop") on Easter, but it feels pretty much like some rib soreness or pleurisy.  Nothing too bad, just some soreness when I lay on that side at night - but enough to make me wonder.  Not a feeling of "fullness" just a soreness.

Thank you...I was worried about pleurisy also, but I think Trey is right, and it's an enlarged Spleen,  which I wish there is something they could do about it.   Because it's a lot worse when I exercise....especially the rowing machine.

I wanted to answer JPD and say unless you are smoking, I doubt it is pleurisy.

A virus/infection is the most common cause of Pleurisy.  The pain usually happens when you are inhaling or exhaling. :)

I had this happen a while back. I'm on Tasigna.  It felt like someone was inside me hanging onto my bottom ribs or my insides were rubbing against the backside of my ribs, both sides, but moreso on the left side.  It seemed to be worse at night and even kept me awake a couple of nights.  Sometimes, I could feel it coming on.  It has since resovled though.
