PCR going up, Do I switch

The motorcycle ride was one that was sponsored by Jim Klobuchar (not sure I spelled it correctly).  He was a pretty famous newspaper writer, I think.  His daughter is now a senator (or politician of some sort).  I can't remember the bicycle ride route, but it was in southern Minnesota.  I ended up riding with 3 people from Texas who had come up for the ride. 

 

Back then, I didn't know a whole lot about bicycling.  I had no idea that there were different bike saddles for men and for women.  After the first day, I found out that I had a men's saddle on my bike.  My butt (and other softer parts) hurt so badly that I spent the entire second day of the ride pedalling standing up.  No kidding.  I survived the week-long ride, and had fun, but it was a pretty agonizing ride for certain parts of my body.
