Does anyone on here have Dr. Blum as their doctor.  What has been your experience with him.

Dr. Blum (osu) is my husband's doctor, and credit him with saving his life. He really is an expert. My husband was mismanaged by another hematologist who had him off of tki for 6 months bc of low ANC, during that time he did not have any PCR or bmb ( and on daily nuepogen shots) until I finally demanded one, by that time it was too late and he progressed to blast stage. He never had high WBC (even at dx) just high platelets. Dr. Blum got the cml under control, and then he had a stem cell transplant this past year (PCR was less than 1% at time of transplant, after 2 months of tki). He is doing well, just some gvhd. We also consulted with dr. Talpaz and he completely agreed with dr. Blum's assessment and treatment plan.
