Hello all

I have seen some references to this - but when I started to check it out further I did not really find as much on it as I thought I would.  Does anyone know if sprycel causes itchy skin and scalp ?   This past winter I thought it was possibly due to heated dry air in the house but now that it is warmer I am still scratching like crazy.  I am on 100 mg S.

Any info appreciated, thx Mike

Hi Mike,

Sorry to hear about your experience but I fear it's not unusual. I've been on Sprycel for about four years - 50mg- and all zeros on my bcr-abl during thar time. Bad news: I have had very bad skin rashes during much of that time, seen several docs but with no relief. Have now settled into a regimen of daily Zyrtec and several topical meds prescribed by my dermatologist.  Good days and bad but in the scheme of things I just take it as part of the "cure" and am grateful it's nothing bigger.

Good luck to you - it's an ongoing journey.

thx Jane - Fortunately  I am also pcru, the S definitely works for me.  I agree, things could be worse.  Have a good day!
